Hi Desi great to see your picture.I met Desi's son he is a really good sport, suffered through 2 hours of intense girl talk while Desi and I tried to catch up on the last 25 years. Everyone Desi's daughter has a great voice and is studying opera, Does any one remember Desi could play the piano and Draw. I bring the drawing thing up because she took lessons from the Art professor at UOG who lived in Doug's old house. I think his name was Klitski or something like that, he was most famous for painting a giant Screw on the Fine Arts building at UOG.

Desi, I always knew you liked guys named David. You have a great looking family and I'm glad that you are happy...you deserve it. Your daughter looks a lot like you.

Desi, thanx for the family pics!

Teresa (my wife) and I were fortunate enough to travel up to Maine last summer to listen to Farah sing oprah! I sank in my seat as she sang! Not being introduce to oprah prior to listening to Farah sing, I am now a major fan of oprah!Meaning...it's deep stuff man!

And for the Zain-Miester, he's one heck of a handsome nephew that I have! And he is a tough guy to boot. If I am ever in a ball room brawl, hope he is around to save me!

Juliet,
How did Zane handel such girl talk.aaaaagh.
yes Desi was always talented in the "arts". I can remember her playing piano for the school when she was 7 years old. And her paintings are just as good.
Dave,
It is funny, I asked her if thes was something strange when she waited to find a guy named Dave to marry. I feel better now knowing she did it so she could call out your name, I was scared it was my name.

Oh David (drl) gross!!!
Hey David (not my brother), thanks for the kind words. I feel pretty blessed with my family. . .
Peace,
Desi
PS - YES I remember that art professor very well! I used to babysit for him, too (and he had tons of those old reel tapes with funky music) - Yes - and we painted the bus stop -

Nice family Desi. Your kids are good lookin. Sorry Im not a opera Fan. But I do respect those who have the voice and talent to sing opera, it's all foreign language to me.

I don't mean to pry, but what happened to Steve?

Hey - I'm having fun. This is a great opportunity to share some laughs. :-) It's always fun to joke with my brothers.

Steve was living in Colorado and he took his own life. Pretty shocking to us all, including his girl friend. He left a daughter (she's about 16 now) in Idaho. But I hadn't been in touch with him much over the years. He did spend quite a bit of time in Guam, in the 1990s, I think. Maybe Joanna remembers seeng him.

Ya, Klitski was a character, the screw on the Fine Arts building was his parting statement for UOG.

Hi Desi, you do have beautiful kids and family. I'm glad we're all on the blog. I did spend time with Steve when he was here, Sam spent more time than me toward the time he left. Write to me and we'll talk. Steve was a good man and a terrific best friend in Dean's Circle:)I did meet Renee' here...
