Yea, thats what I'm talking about. An old Shovel Head Sportster, with drag bars, penut tank, and mag's. That is nice.

Ric, The Sportster is made for speed. The "Big Twin", like mine now, will get up and go, but they are more designed for crusing.

Yepper. This was a custom 5" over front end, drag bars, 2" drag pipes without spark arrestors, custom A/T mags, and a shaved seat.
I use to ride this thing at night down in Waikiki, revv up quick and then let loose ... and guess what happens ....

No disrespect intended, but didn't Harley Davidsons used to be referred to as Hardley Ablesons? They must have improved them over the years because they used to always be sitting in a puddle of their own oil. Can you tell I love Rice Rockets? Nothing like good clean controversy.

Yes, form 1972 to 1984 AMF (yes the soccer ball maker) owned HD. They were so poorly made that they would ship them without fluids, and sold an oil pan for after you got it at home.
I don't care. AMF kept the only continously American made since 1903 in buissness. It was simply personality leaking. Even the AMF era was stil HD.
As for the rice burner, NO GIRL EVER ENJOIED SITTING ON ANYTHING AS MUCH AS ME OR A HARLEY DAVIDSON.

But like I said, I hope people ride what they want, and they can ride with me anytime.

Riding is riding.

yeah, the AMF people really screwed things up for HD didn't they? That company also made bowling balls, so go figure.

Rice rockets are way cool and for sure they zip way quicker. I remember when the Ninja first came out. Wow, was that thing quick or what?!
