'Man Cave'

Most of my life (especially married life), I have always designated a place that is 'all mine'. It is my hide out, my only solitute place, my 'dont F%$#k with me place', ie.....my cave! (It should have a TV, small fridge full of drinkable suds, and a hotrod calander of the hottest you know whats)!

I was never sure if I was alone here on this 'cave' thing? But a news story (another million buck study) came out today and confirmed that most men like to have their own cave (room) in the house that is just for them.

Some guys call it their garage, but now days it seems like even that is no longer sacred ground. I'm with you ric, still searching for that corner of the house to designate as off limits to everyone but me myself and I. Enter at your own risk.

Cute...females feel that feeling also at times:)Yet,if my husband stayed in the garage or a room, that means "needs space,Mental period":)

I did fail to mention that my wife too has her own 'space' at home also. And that we do have our 'very happy spaces' that we like to meet, watch TV, eat drink and sleep! It all weighs out for the good of the family! ;)

Maybe I need to get my mind out of the gutter but when I saw this thread title I immediately thought of something else.

You got me Doug, but you are begining to scare me man! This was just to justify another million plus dallor study that was done by our goverment, about guys and their need for their personal space...a cave (ie, an office, a garage, a box or what ever...ect..)!

Oh I'm all for the man cave thing. Maybe some day when (and if) my daughters ever permanently amscray I will convert one of their BR's into the man cave.
Thing is my wife is into football and all that as much or more than most guys so she'd probably be in there as much as me.

I'm with you all the way on the cave man thing Doug!

15 years ago while living in Alaska, I gave my then fiance a stuffed animal...a cave man. She asked me why a cave man? I told her that it was a representation of me. And you know, I never see that thing anymore, only and except when I am away and come home to see her snuggling with it. Now that is heart warming dude!
