A Message for Juliet... as the blog lives on

Hafa,
my name is kevin gast. I was stationed at NAS Agana from 1975-1980. I knew a girl named Juliet Bast. It has been 28 years since I last talked to her. I doubt that you would give me her e-mail, but do you think you could give her mine?

Thank you. kevin (a friend of Ralph Steinheimer)

HI Dave I got this email some time last month and was able to make contact with Kevin. I hope you have enough space on the blog for all the guys I once knew, I think half the VQ1 might be looking for me. HAHAHHAHA and the other half is probably still trying to forget...

That's not 'the' same Steinheimer (AKA Stein) that I think he is? If so, how is 'ole Stein doing these days?

Yes, they lived across from you in Academy Garden Apartments near Voc-Tec. I hear he is retiered from the Navy and lives up in Rota, SPAIN where his wife is base housing Manager or something like that. I heard from Ruguer also. He was the other roommate. Great times and parties over there. Kevin is a High School Math teacher in Maryland.

Come on Juliet it was '78 just before I went in the Army. Mike Hetrick. That was his name and the band was tugboat. Man I'm getting a headache now.

Strange I can't remember the name of the club. It was tight in there. That was really the surfer hang out, well lets face it back then there were not to many clubs other than the big hotels. I remember that and the parking lot when the band took breaks, thick with smoke. Tugboat what a great band "jungle love it's driving me mad making me crazy"
Do you remember some late meals at House of Wong(chin fee) next to the strip club. I remember befor early on in high school alot of us would go to the Fugita club. Hershy Limehouse had a band there, the Perez Acres gang used to all pile in the car and go there.
