This just in, June 11th, 2008. It's snowing and 38 degrees in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Al Gore is right!
I know us podunk folk in Idaho don't know as much as Al Gore, but holy cow. We still have standing snow in the bench (foot hills). We have not been able to pull the camper in the hills yet because of the standing snow. So would someone who believes all this bunk science explain this too me. I know, I watched "The day after tomorrow", and global warming means a deep freeze, but that seems backwards to me.

I think the theory goes that as the planet warms and the polar ice caps melt the increased amount of fresh water introduced into the oceans would disrupt the salt water thermal currents that run from the equator poleward. These currents are what help to redistribute the earths heat and absent this mechanism could lead to radical climate shift like an ice age. It's theory so take it for what it's worth. The earths climate is changing as to why who knows. I don't know about this global warming thing but I'm reasonably confident in saying that Al Gore is as full of shit as a Christmas goose.
Oh and enjoy your weather, seriously. It's like 100 plus here.

Question: What started global warming when the glaciers melted and the oceans rose 300 feet at the end of the last ice age? The human race was so advanced that humans were wearing fig leafs, rubbing stones together to produce fire, and men were dragging there knuckles on the ground. But the Earth had warmed up anyways without automobiles or factories...10,000 years ago! (Must have been a lot more termites and cows back then).
Some facts: *Did you know termites and cows produce more carbon annually that all of man kind. *Seattle Washington's politicions are concidering banning beach bonfires to help fight global warming (who voted those idiots into office). *Astonomers have confirmed that our own Suns surface in hotter now that has been in recent history (maybe this explains why our sister planet Mars surface tempature is also rising at the same rate as Earths tempetures (last I checked through my telescope, no cars or factories on Mars).
Glabal warming? Maybe? Man made global warming? I personally dought it.
Hey, I figured it out. I know it has been a hot spring for some of you folk. Ric has told me in the past how hot it has been, Doug is hot if Fla., Cindy has a pool to combat the heat. I was just funning about the cold (I am tired of freezing). But, yesterday we hit the altime low. Broke the record. The strange thing is it is going to raise more than 40 degrees in the next 2 days.

The weather is stable here. Still have "partly cloudy skies with chances of isolated showers", Lows in the mid 70s and highs in the high 80s.
