New Kid in Town...

Janet Tansy Christina Tansy

Did anybody notice that we have a new crewmember onboard? Another circle rat came out of hiding and is our link to the whole Quin family. Just kidding Matt, we who remember them loved your family dearly. Mary Jo was hot, and I still have a scar on my thumb from when Janet tried to bite it off. My brother Dan and Brian were good friends, and your Dad never cut any of us hoodlum-degenerate circle jerks any slack. You were situated right next to the Copelands, which in those days was prime real estate, with Barkey Barton as your back door neighbor and home of the midnight swimming hole. Please give your entire family our best regards and encourage them to sign on and sail with us, as we take this sentimental journey into the future. Write often and post every old Dean's Circle photo that you can muster. Thanks for googling DC.

I stumbled upon the Dean's Circle Blog when googling and Juliet Bast asked where the Tansy family was. I forwarded your webpage
to my siblings so they can contact you if they want to.

Here's a quick run down:
Ted Tansy, our dad, living in Riverside, CA. He said you can email him: tltansy@juno.com
Mae Tansy, our mom, died of cancer in 1986, buried in Eugene, OR. We never stopped calling her "Biha".
Our folks divorced in 1977.
Mary Jo, Provo (or there-abouts), Utah
Janet, Vancouver, WA
Christina, Moreno Valley, divorced, 2 girls, 1 grandson!
Brian, Battle Ground, WA, married, 1 son
Matt, Groton, CT, active duty navy, serving in submarines but on shore duty now, married, 1 boy age 7 and 1 girl age 5.

My family still calls me by the nickname I picked up in Guam: Chew

I think this is great! I was aware that a Tansy family member did contact the blog via email, but was waiting to see them come on board.

I do remember the name 'Tansy'. I often have a difficult time placing a name with a face (this is something that I have always been challenged with, so don't take it personally anyone).

I am eager to hear from the Tansy family on this blog!

Welcome aboard!

Welcome to the DC Blog. I like Ric remember the name very well but will have to see pictures (old ones) to put the face with your family name. I too am challenged in this way!

The Tidwells lived in Tansys house early on. Matt and John. I wondered what happened to them. They had pet rats, big rats. And Matt ate a lot of salt. For some reason he was alwys carrying a baggie of salt around with him and eating it. Jeez that was a long time ago thanks for reminding me Jo.

HI sent you Tansy's emails but got no response or else they ended up in the spam folder. Hope to hear from you all on the blogg. I remember Matt and John Tidwell. They had a raid pump can and were always trying to spray each other.

While we were'nt the best of friends, I will always remember Janet a a great asset/team member on the Volley ball court, next to the bus stop.. I clearly remember one day, unfortunately for someone, when during a spike she broke RAC's finger, I think..Maybe??
Any help with this "memory"?
