SKINKS! I remember those all over our yard! The Skinks were in the grass AND the geckos were on the walls and ceilings. The gross thing is - when i mowed - some of them didn't run off quick enough and were victims of the 2-cycle monster! 'calakas'! (sp?)
no more cute little geckos here. my cat brings in the big lizards, plays with them, then without tail they are free to roam. I don't mind them unless one jumps on my head while i'm asleep...then I freak.

Yea those suckers are quick and I also remember the chamelions you could have them bite your fingers and carry them around.
I just remember the geckos and some huge lizard. Don't remember seeing one of them, Cool looking though!

Thats right Mark, I remember those nasty ones. Not nice and cute like the Geckos.
When you pee in the jungle the skinks think its bugs hitting the dirt and come running. :-)
Those Geckos, I always liked 'em. They were fun to look at while laying in bed before going to sleep.
But what was that big lizard that I once saw while riding my bike through the back roads of 'Harman Village'? It were huge, about 2 feet long!
I still do not remember the lizard posted here? But does anyone remember the tini blind snakes, about the size or earth worms?

oh and I never want to smash one of them. I still think that's bad luck...like killing a spider.
