What do you think about President Obama helping a Spanish Judge (who's own government has said to drop) prosecute Former President Bush and his administration. That is a generalisation. But I will listen to you before giving my opinion of a standing President assisting a foreigner government prosecute a former President.

You will need to read through to find where it says, "Holder said he would not rule out cooperating with the Spanish Magistrate..."
I intentionally found one from a liberal news agency. If I put one on from Fox, it would look like I was going after a which hunt.

It sounds like you may be a little premature in your condemnation. Saying you would consider (ie listen to, entertain, hear) a request is a far cry from saying you would grant a request. Talk to me when something actually happens.
Why in the world would he even consider it? If he considers it, then it is a possibility. Do you think it is a good thing to even consider? If this goes through, then President Obama may turn Bush over to the Taliban for atrocities. I know that is a stretch, but don't you think it is wrong?

I just wish someone on the left can at least say that the democrats can do something wrong. We on the right have no problem admitting when our "guys" do something wrong, bone headed, stupid, @!*&^$%@^())*&^%$$$ (I can't even cuss correctly with symbols), etc...

It's my opinion that the Obama administration will not be prosecuting, or assisting in the prosecution of anyone from the former occupants posse.
Why? Simple. It's not politically expedient for them to do so. With polling showing close to 75% of the American public against any form of prosecution for crimes that may have been committed under the former administration it just aint going to happen. Now you might say what good are polls but rest assured that the Presidents handlers sure are paying attention to them.
So once again we have a decision made based not necessarily on what's right or wrong, but on whether it helps to ensure gaining and maintenance of power.

Not to piss off my fellow Righties but I don't think Obama really gives a shit. Look, he's got the prize now and it's a long standing tradition that they(former and present presidents) scratch each others backs. Just suppose a world court convened and convicted Bush. I truly believe Obama would pardon him anyways. They might hang Cheney out to dry though. It sucks being second fiddle sometimes. But hey, Thats why they get the big bucks.Hahaha.
Joanna, you must not have been reading much of what RAC has been posting. When he said the republicans have messed up, most of us on the right said, "yes". Read the post before you say we don't say things. The one on Jeb Bush is a good one to start on.
My point on this is the fact that the Obama administration at least is "considering" it. That is a problem. Whether it goes anywhere or not, it is a problem. I would say the same thing if Bush would have okayed the persecution of Clinton after bombing a civilian aspirin/acedamedaphine factory.
Yea DRL,birds of a feather flock together. But don't expect the lefties to admit to anything. Thats the whole deal. They're not about anything. At least come out and throw some "what if's" around but noooo it's show me a link to a website or something. How about you guys show us an original thought. I think the scenario that has been put forward by DRL is possible. I personally don't think that Obama would do anything to hurt the country but thats the optimist in me. So I guess the best scenario would be lets wait and see what happens.
Yea Mat. That was allot of my point here. First of all, none of those on the left will or have ever said anything negative about their side. None of there guys/gals have ever done anything wrong. Even though it was a liberal president that interned a whole populous of American citizens in "concentration camps".
I would hope that Obama would not do anything to hurt America, but he has said many times, "I will do what those who elected me, want me to do", or something like that. He is not going to do what Americans want him to do, but what liberals want him to do. Liberals, as we have seen on this blog, hate the last administration and would do what it takes to appease them (those who voted for him). So to "consider" helping a foreign government to prosecute Bush and those under him is a possibility in the Obama administration.
