Wasn't there a movie about 20 years ago about space aliens that take over the planet. They were lizards like disguised as humans. V or something like that was the name.

Pee Wee Herman. Yet another "distinguished" alum of The Florida State University.

I really wasn't trying to piss Dave off. I like Dave, he's one of the good guy's. And like you said, he's always a gentleman.

In the big scheme of things Dave and I are probably more of like mind than you think - we all are. Only our pride and biases keep us apart.

remember listening to cheech and chongs albums on Guam? I still laugh just as hard now when I see one of their crazy, stupid, funny movies.
When my son was little, we laughed at pee wees silly show too. Then the jerk got busted in Sarasota (the county next door) for masturbating in a public theater. That was his demise. He literally screwed himself.

I was first turned on to Cheech and Chong by the Jones'. They had a copy of "The Big Bamboo". Not to imply anything but I suspect the rolling paper in that album was one that actually did get used.

It really was a shame about PeeWee. His character and show were quite clever. You have to wonder what kind of personal demons it takes to throw away such success. It's like some of these celebrities feel they don't deserve what the have. And I guess in some cases they don't (can you say Britney?)

yep. hung out next door at the jones', listening to cheech and chong

Wow man..whhhhhh whoooo.(inhale exhale on a jt)I think for the most part it is brain chemistry, not mind over matter. But still dealing with people can be frustrating. I never was into Pee Wee. ick. I feel sort of sorry for Britney and I like her music. She got into the business really young as a mouseketeer with Jason Timberlane on the Micky Mouse Club. I guess that was the "Harvard Nursery" of show biz. Still for a young girl she feeds a lot of people. Many Bio Polar people crack in the early 20's when the pressure is really on.

Bi-polar oops

I always loved Pee Wee and so did my kids. I think people who are very clever and artistic often are a little screwed up too.

Cindy is right I think. The demons that live inside comic geniuses are legend.
From Lenny Bruce to John Belushi to Richard Pryor etc.
Of course that's not to say that Pee Wee was a genius but anyways...

I'll take that as a complement Cindy...LOL
