May god bless their souls and all others who died in the line of duty to the U.S.of A.

Men so young, paying the ultimate price for freedom.

Dave, that is so true. But I get sick of "break out the bracelet" once a year. Why ever forget? When vegetarians meet, a seat is left empty for those who never came home, for those taken prisoner, and those missing. This is observed one a year by most Americas, never by some Americans, and always by the rest of us.

The rest of the year liberals sing protest songs, sit with Cindy Sheehan with broken crosses on sticks and t-shirts.

Interesting drl, I didn't realize vegetarians leave a seat open.

Okay, what am I missing?? What does not eating meat got to do with honoring servicemen who died for their country????

DRL said...

Ha ha, yea you girls got me on a misspelled word. Let me see if I can bring this into perspective for you.

Veteran. Okay? Hope that helps you. Most veterans are good enough shot to eat meat.

If my poor spelling is the best you got, I am sorry. Ha.

Sorry drl, that was just too blatant to ignore. I mean, come on! vegetarian is such a stretch from veteran. and means a totally different thing.

Hahaha... now that's too funny.

Sounds like someone has been sampling the communion wine.

That's okay, you guys have been making fun of my problem of spelling and writing. I have lived with it all my life. I am going to stop using 'spell check'. I went and misspelled veteran, then hit spell check. Vegiterian was one that came up. I clicked on the wrong one I am guessing. And I don't drink anymore. Mabey I should, na.

See now to me having lived abroad all my life and being a suspect American at best, Vegetarians meeting and leaving a seat open for those that never came home or taken prisoner seemed reasonable.lol

Juliet, maybe the vegetarians leave a seat open just in case a meat-eater wants to cross over.

Did you ever notice that on just about every post someone is accused of not being a good enough or patriotic American by drl. Even on Memorial Day when we try to honor men who Cindy and I never forgot and drl never even knew the name of and have been missing since 1960's we are bashed as not being American and patriotic enough. I mean is it because your military dad wasn't present in your life drl that you try to prove you are the best military supporter around. I just want to understand how you have this bull crap persona that you are the best American standing. How is it possible that you are allowed to even turn this tribute to a drl whine session. We have memorial day once a year to pay homage to the brave men and women who died for our country, not for you. What is that matter with you that you can not even keep it together for one day and have to continuously self promote yourself. You suck as a patriot because you put your self ahead of honoring these people who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
