Mushrooms on Guam

I've noticed a set of mushrooms growing out of wood in front of my door. They start growing throughout the night and then shriver to nothing when the sun rises. These fungi live for 12 hours and everynight I see new ones. I think we're lucky to have more time than that. Just an opinion:)

Sounds like a familiar theme... having to wait until the end before seeing the Light.

You just never know about those "shrooms". Nah, I never took any of that stuff.

Wow, that's pretty heavy. Like friggin' Aristophanes or something. I hereby nominate you the Blog philosopher. Seriously dude, you have a gift, you know how to use words. An endangered quality these days. Edgar Allen Carraway did a fine job with you all.

Like when you are walking out in the jungle at midnight, and you come to a lattie stone / burial
site...
then your flashlight goes out,

so you start knocking and shaking it around,

because you want that light to go on real bad.....

Some fungus disappear with sunlight as they dry out. In the night if it is moist they will grow. See if they show up when it rains. Maybe you have
fairy ring mushrooms.

Juliet, these mushrooms are fairy ring mushrooms, they live very short lives but, they inspire me.Have any of you seen the illuminating ones in the river at night. Totally awesome, like a small city in the water.
Or as Chris said, when the flashlight goes out,Oh Boy!!!

I've never seen a wild boar, but have stumbled across some wild spore...shrooms that is, purple tea, liberty bells, pattie plants, veggie platters...The fungus-amungus. And then I saw the Latte Stones.
