what was that game called?

at the bus stop, in the morning. (red rover, red rover, won't u come over). had to try to break through a line of kids on the the other side. If u got through, u could take one back, If they caught u, you were part of their team.....LOL so funny how this stuff comes back. It was our version of survivor until the bus got there.

Us younger kids played "Brittish Bulldog" it was a version of freeze tag. It was a good way to wake up before school, or wear yourself out.

I miss the bus stop. Amazing how that little shack was so important to the lot of us!

Ha I remember Kin our bus driver and how we would hide behind the bus stop from him to skip school and go down to hang all day at Pago bay. He also knew where we lived and would honk his horn to pick-up Ben. Shoes in one hand piece of toast in the other.

Juliet, its funny you mentioned hiding behind the bus stop. I remember on many occasions myself and others hiding as their parents would drive by, shifting from one side to the other at just the right moment so as not to be seen. That way you wouldn't have to put your cigarette out or risk them seeing you in an other than sober condition.
