Since I used to sleep on a couch on the lanai I can say from experience that at 5 in the morning when the dogs wake up and want to play, that they definitely have cool wet noses.
Great Danes also have big floppy lips so they slobber all over the place when eating and drinking. bleh.
My parents thought it would be fun to teach one of the dogs to drool on command, so every time they gave Mara (the target dog in this experiment) a biscuit they would say "Mara, Drool!". After a short time no "drool stimulants" were required and having completed their experiment they decided to show this new learned skill to some friends down for dinner. Mara drooled like she'd never drooled before grossing out all the guests. It was the last time the "Drool" command was given.

Good Lord. What do they feed that beast?
Doug, you feed it what ever it wants to eat!
Be like having another teenager in the house.
From the size of Scooby there, it would be more like having to feed several teenagers. That’s one big doggie!
Hey Paul, just a quick question for you. Do dogs on Guam have cold noses?

Forget the food...think of the poop!
Yea Paul! Nothing like a big four legged furry, big pawed friend, with a very cold & wet nose! They are the best of people around!
