Robert, I felt that but, I woke up for a few seconds and thought to myself, well. I'm at Sam's house in Chalan Pago...then fell back to sleep:) A better way to go if a piece of concrete slammed my head. Oh, I was by myself at that time. That was it!:)Ring of fire.
Wow, I didn't see that
Any one remember the big quake we had in Dean's Circle around '74? Stuctual damage to the Sience building was done, if I recall.
I was at your house when that hit Ric.I remember running out and the vehicle was going side to side.Scary. Then we had one in '93 that was a 8 pointer. I felt the world was ending.
Joanna, nice memory young lady! Who could forget that one?
The '93 quake. Was living in Alaska at the time, but remember hearing about it on the news. It was about the same time that 'Mt. Spurr ( a Alaskan volcano)' blew her cork in Alaska.
Guam and Alaska are both in the 'Ring of Fire'. When one quake blows in the 'ring of fire', it triggers quakes and volcano's else where, chain reaction I quess.
I remember that quake. It was a few weeks after I saw "The Excorcist". I was in one of the beds and DRL came in with that devilish look on his face (but, doesn't he always). When the bed started shaking, I can tell you I had "a moment of terror". And, there was DRL, looking like he was had something to do with it.
Sean, didn't you boys have a 3 story bunker? All I really remember is someone yelling to stay still. Of course ,I took off like a bat out of you know where...the 8 pointer I did the same. Run then think later:)
Oh Yeah,DRL caused it with that devilish look:) David, I think you ran in and then ran out ASAP:)
