Pool Party at Cindy's New House

The house was a major bargain...a foreclosure.. (I'm doing my part to stimulate the economy). Around 1900 sq feet under air, 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, an office,Has all tile and Pergo floors, Corian counter tops, ceiling fans in every room, plantation shutters on the all windows, privacy fence (for skinny dipping without shocking the neighbors). I feel very blessed and excited to call it home.

My granddaughter Katie was the first one to try out the pool..me painting the kitchen yesterday...the great room with built-in entertainment center..front of house.

Nice place. So who takes care of the pool?

Congratulations are in order. Sounds like quite a find.

DC reunion 2010?

Ric Larson said...

Doug, I think Cindy is hoping that the 'RAC'ster' will be the pool guy. Buy if he declines, I would be happy to take the job!

Doug, I was hoping to be Miss Independent Woman and take care of it myself...lol..got it turned from green to blue again...but today couldn't figure out how to get the Barracuda cleaner going..will probably have to call in a professional for some Pool Care 101 Lessons...and Ric, I'd want to fantasize about having some hunky pool guy...not my brother, ugh!!! am too tired from cleaning, painting and moving to do any fantasizing for now...lol

And all friends are welcome anytime!! ; )

rac said...

Hey I'm kind of hunky. I've got a hunk hanging over my belt here, a hunk hanging over here and a hunk... you get the picture.

Cindy, great place, what a deal! I especialy like the McDonalds and Zories.

Ric, Remember I already applied for the pool boy position at the Reunion, Cindy suggested "Cabana boy". So I took it. I will oil down the ladies, so gils, get in line.

I am liking the 2010 @ Cindy's

Cindy nice house. If you need any help with the pool just let me know. I didn't want to let this out because I didn't want to be the pool boy in Vegas(I think RAC
an DRL have their hearts set on it)
but it just so happens that I'm a certified pool and spa operator and I can give you some advice if you need it. Have fun and enjoy!

DRL said...

Mat, you can fight with Ric (not Rac, that is Cindy's brother, they are not from Arkansas) for pool boy. I have accepted Cabana Boy for Vegas Baby. Bring on the lotion!!!

Ric Larson said...

Hey Cindy, I am a certified 'Coal Stove Stoker'. Don't know if that will help you much with your pool in Fl., but please keep me in mind as your pool guy :)

I'm so happy for Cindy!! I'm buying a house too, but not as exciting.

DRL said...

Pat, put an unbrella out in your back yard and I am your Cabana Boy.

Ric Larson said...

Pat, an exciting home is an individual expression of want and need. (As my dream home is only a 2 bedroom log cabin with a loft and warmed only by a fire place...now that is my dream home. But this is not very exciting to many at all, but to me it is). I am sure your home will be very exciting! Keep us updated Pat!

Pat has been doing a good job of sprucing up Mom and Dad's house. It's just right for her and the price is right!! Plus it's nice that it's still in the family.

Ric Larson said...

Cindy, that is so true!

rac said...

Pat, your house may not be as exciting, but it certainly has a lot more memories. ;-)

Happy Birthday Little Nephew!

Ric Larson said...

Memories, and keeping it in the family, well now....that makes it 'tops & unbeatable'! Pat, take care of that home! You go girl!

Congrats to Cindy and Pat. I hope we can all meet up in one of Your homes someday. I had a hedgehog in my garden last night, no pools or boat launches but the train isn#t toooo laud when it passes. This week I am going to plant and apple tree and peach tree in the back so that Hans and I will be able to eat some fruit after he stops working. I bought a bell pepper in the store the other day and it was 1 euro which is about $1.40. I am going solar.

Juliet, I hope you really enjoyed your bell pepper!

Thankyou Cindy, Rac, ric, drl, Juliet..and ALL my circle friends! Your nice words always make my day.
Just don't want to take away from what cindy is doing. She's got guts and alot of heart and I admire her. It's amazing how when you're kids you scrap and fight and draw a line between yours beds in which the other must not cross. Then suddenly, Your almost 50 and now you're looking up to them and crying on their shoulder and they're there for you...always.

Note to DRL:
I've got the umbrella and even the lounge chair and I'm THIS close to firing my present cabana boy if he doesn't shape up. Sleeping in till the sun slowly dips does not make for a good cabana boy. So Drl, I'll keep you posted. Hey, maybe Cindy and I could work something out, like a share thing.
