This was us, I think?

Don't want to steal from no one's thunder, ...but, wasn't the 'bus stop' , the 'Rock at Pago bay', and the 'Cruz store', basically the back bones of our lives back then? OK, and maybe High School football too?

And reflecting on memories of Guam: Dan, Amy, Alice, Desi, Jinny, Pete, Sam, Dean, & Johnny B., where are you guys and gals? Drop us a line now and then!

Ric

I did'nt spend a lot of time at Cruz store I went there to buy my sodas and candy (i was always riding my dirt bike)but I was there enough to have it embedded in my memory forever(Doug I have an original Schlitz can opener that I pocketed just for the hell of it).

Mat, today our girls went tearing around in Chalan Pago. Sam and I joined in. He fixed it twice. We talked about his dune buggy and we laughed. We talked about you and laughed more!!!

Mat and I used to go there to buy our cigarettes to ride our bikes around playing "Stubby German."

Pete! Good to hear from you again! Sounds like you have been busy. Actualy, some of us should be as busy as you, but we just don't have our priorities in place yet (like me). :0

Thank you Amy! I am thankful to the two people (Sheriff Dave & Guru Rac)whom started this madness.

If it were not for my Guam childhood experiences, I would not be the person that I am today (that can be good or bad depending on what you think of me)...but one of my dreams was to go back to the place were my most charished memories took place. Going back was not a true reality. But then, this blog was created, and it was the best next thing, if not even better, than going back to Guam! At least on this blog all, one gets to talk with friends from many years ago! And this blog is a true testimony that friendships never do die.

After reading this blog from begining to present, it dawned on me that 'we', we are probably some of the luckiest people in the world! Thanks Dave and Robert!

Amy, this is why this blog means so much to me!

OK Pat, I meant to mention your name, (but was too embarrassed as I bring up memories of my past on Guam. You looked very yummy to me back then. But I must have only been but a small child in your eyes). :(

But on a lighter note, we are both grown ups now! :) lol
