Best hour I ever spent alone!

Got off work, came home and to find that I was alone. My wife was at a High School track meet, and I no longer have a dog to play with. So I went to the fridge, cracked open an ice cold brewski and began reading this blog...but in reverse, from the beginning to present postings. Better than reading a novel. Try it some time, you'll be glad you did! :)

Must I add, that when enjoying the blog and a nice cold beer, I was graving popcorn. Checked the pantry, out of popcorn. Check the frigde, had a lot of fresh corn cobb's.

I peeled the corn cobb's and then through a few of them in the microwave. After a few minutes, no pop corn. So I set the time on 10 minutes and went back to the blog. FIRE ALARM ACTIVATED!

I never did get to eat any popcorn tonight, but I know my fire alarm system is working very well.

Ric, I have started from the begining and really enjoyed it myself. Especially the old pictures. I still go back once and a while and check out old posts.

Ric, as far as I'm concerned you are the keeper of the blog. You're like that dude Frodo in Lord of the Rings; your job is to get the ring (blog) to its destination. You have at times single-handedly kept this thing alive and for that we are all grateful. As for me, I've just taken a little hiatus for the moment... but that doesn't mean I'm not still lurking in the shadows.

Ric, I agree with my brother on that one. You have been keeper of the blog. When ever I come on, it's always nice to see you. Whether you're serious or silly, it's all good.

Pat, I am glad that you can distinquish between when I am serious or just me being a 'plain old goof-ball'.

At work when I am talking with people, they will often say "now that is funny Ric", and I often reply, "no I am very serious". Or they will ask "are you serious"?, and I'll reply, "no, I am just joking"!

Pat and RAC'miester, thanks for the complements. But the Honor alone goes to Dave and Robert.
