My husband was kind enough to point out my first gray hair about a week before my 30th birthday. My response was, "At least I still have hair." Now I have a lot more gray hair and he has a lot less hair...period!
Use hair color...it works best to keep the illusion of youth :-)
I was initially reluctant to respond to this one, as I may be seen as one 'ease dropping' at a chicks hair solon. But I decided that I would 'go for it' anyways!
As in a previous blog, I mentioned as a 'dude', now in my mid 40's, I was growing some funky hair in places that I never had before (like out of my nose and ears).
Joanna and Cindy. One day...just not that long ago in the passed, I thought I was a handsome young dude (and a babe-magnet) in his mid-twenties. Next thing I realized, I was in my mid 40's. Had salt and pepper hair (at least I still sport some hair) and a frick'n tire around my waist line, that used to be 'six-pack abbs'.
How time may change our bodies. But our 'true selfs', ours 'souls' really don't seem to change. Do they?
Now old and grey, reading a naughty book by the fire place, sucking away on a pipe and a cold brewski (the legal kind), it just dawned on me that I was never ever a real a 'Babe magnet' either'! :(
I get these gray hairs in my mustache that stick out like bailing wire. I could trim and dye them weekly like a certain relative I have, but like my hair, I prefer to let them go Albert, i.e., look like Albert Einsteins hair. Fuck youth, that's just building up endurance for when you can really party, i.e., when you become old farts like me and a certain Rodney Duncan, right Rod?...:)
I have been blessed with good genes and a naturally red/blonde head of hair. The gray blends so nicely! I enjoyed my 40's and don't even feel 50...ahh the memories of youth!

Joanna, I agree with Sarah...hair dye is the true Fountain of Youth. And a good hair stylist is worth any amount you have to pay them....

I can attest to the fact (since I just saw her a month ago) that Becki is still a young hot chick.
Becki, did you get married on Guam? I think I have a memory of your wedding.
Yes, I was married on 9/30/78 at Santa Teresita Church in Mangilao. We were so young. The biggest expense was the booze! How different it is today.
I say, stay blonde and if you find one anywhere else, pluck it and cry a tear.
