Congratulations Cindy, You are making a huge difference to the people that you check out...Guam's still lacking in that dept. if you know what I mean.P.I., Hawaii or prayer's.
Cindy, thats a nice article. too many times an aritcle is about the negitive side of things. "Medical misaps" for example. If they only ran more of the posotive (which there is alot more of than the negitive) our world would be a better place. I am in the trucking industy. Any time you see a trucker on tv (news or movie) he has or will kill someone. Thank you for the positive and what you are doing to keep it that way!
DRL, you made a good point. News usually is depressing. Not rewarding too often, sad more often than not.Should be the other way around...sensationalism sells.
Cindy, my daughter's Godfather is an EMT for the fire dept. After 17 years, he finally recieved a raise. It's all over PDN. I feel for them, All of them except the wasteland...people who deserve to be let go:)

Joanna, yes and that is why we need to remember stories like Cindy's. If it is true that we are what we eat, then it is also true,we are what we hear.
Impressive. Good for you Cindy.
"Chlamydia", that just sounds nasty.
Thank you all for your kind words!!! I love my job and I'm proud of the dedicated people I work with. And yes, Doug...stay away from that chlamydia!!!
