POTW - Whats your zorie look like?

After seeing the posts about electrical floatation devices I just had to show my normal foot wear.

When I'm not wearing tennis shoes (work shoes) I'm flopping around in these (notice the distinguishing racing stripes above the toes).

Ok, I have a confession to make.

I once took a girl out to dinner in an old beat up car (a real Guam bomb, only cost me $50). After eating, we were to head out to a club for a couple of drinks with some friends. Noticing that it had rained while we were dining, I handed her one of my zories and explained that she should put it on the hole in the floor so that her dress didn't get muddy.

I thought it was a act of chivalry but I guess she didn't since she never talked to me again.

Yea when my kids were small we did the same thing in the old Datsun 210 we had. We used to tell the kids put your feet over the hole in the floor whenever we went over a mud puddle. As far as how my zorries look, well ask someone who was in Vegas for the re-union.It wasn't a pretty sight. Thanks Paul for keeping it real,Island style.

I am a shoe-aholic ( 70+ pairs ) and my daughter and I were laughing the other day (while standing in line to buy more shoes..lol) when I pointed out to her that we should look down and see that with all the cute shoes I own, what did we both have on our feet? zories.
