When was the last time you were on Guam? How about your classmates. Have you missed them and all the fun we had in high school? Do you think about the activities we had, like Sadie Hawkins Day, Chamorro Week? Would you have missed our little chats about all the different sporting events, ROTC, band and choir, and all the different clubs?
Well, here's your chance to spend time with former classmates. Share old memories, make new ones, and eat, drink and be merry. The Reunion will be in fabulous fun city of Las Vegas. The banquet will be at the Sahara Hotel, Saturday June 13, 2009. . The cost for the banquet is $75.00 alumni and $63.00 guests. Payment (check or money order) must be sent to Bill Chaco, 15234 Moonlit Grove, San Antonio, TX. 78247 NO LATER THAN MAY 10TH.... Attire is Island casual. Dinner is buffet style and starts at 7:30PM.This will include a T-Shirt, a memory book, dinner of island cuisine, and dancing to music provided by a DJ. There will be a cash bar for those who care to partake. There has also been a discussion of a golf outing for those who play, and possibly a shopping trip for the ladies.
The memory book is open to everyone, those who are attending and not able to attend.

That Eric. He was a classmate of mine in a couple classes. I believe he graduated in '77.

Matheeeeeeew, since you and I got our GED’s (High School equivalents degree) from Guam Community College, instead of graduating from GW, are we eligible to receive an invite to a GWHS reunion party?

An alumnus is someone that attended an institution. Graduation is not typically required to be considered a member of the alumni.

Pssst Doug, I am fully aware of that. Just shooting the crap around! ;)

Ric welcome back and yea we're eligible to attend. They do these every year just about. I couldn't go even if I wanted to. I started a new job and I'm not eligible for vacation for a while. We used to have Libration Day fiestas every year here in Colorado Springs and Benita and I would go and shoot the shit all day with the local Chamorro community. They would come from New Mexico,Arizona,California and all over the west. We would even run into family of Benita's You know..her second cousins nino in law on the maternal uncle's side by marriage.etc. It gets old. Sometimes ya just wanna be a Haole.Ya know? Grill some bratwurst and hamburgers. You would be surprised. Benita is quite the Haole.Mashed potatos, steak, greenbeans and dinner rolls.Mmmmm.With a side of kimchee.Hahaha.I guess you can take the girl off the island but you can't take the island out of the girl.
