Democratic Primary Race

THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT!

I have been watching the Democratic primary race tonight. The Democractic Delegate count is getting very tight. I am not a Democrat, but I do know whom I do not want to win the Democratic Primary. This is almost better to watch than a good football game!

I would vote for Hillary.

It doesn't matter who drives the clown car, it only goes in circles anyway. Therefore, I say a vote for Hillary is a vote for Chelsea... and that girl is smokin' hot!

Hillary

I'm not a Democrat. But if I were, I would be calling a bookie in Las Vegas and placing 50% odds on both of them! What a tight race! Better than football at the moment!

They're all assholes.

Doug, all I can say is "pretty much so"!

It really is quite exciting. I am about as right wing as you can get...but it would almost be politically perverse to see Obama win. The only downside is the personal cost - increased taxes. Someone's gotta pay for his socialistic utopia!

I think it is pretty sad that the Democratic party can only produce those two for candidates.
Is there anyone out there besides an Extreem left wing gay rights activist tied to Hollywood or a Black supremist member of the Islamic Nation, that could have the intellignece to run for a President on the Democratic side? Yes Doug, ric, julie ,pat, I realize there is...Ralph Nader.

I really wish we could take a peek in an alternate reality, a political "wonderful life" if you will and see what happens should Mrs. Clinton be president. I wouldn't wish the reality on any of us, but it would make an interesting "see, I told you so" moment.

Ric Larson said...

Dan, I'm with you on that! And Sean, let us hope I never have to say to anyone, "see I told you so"!

I learned from Dad, it's a bad idea to talk politics with friends, but you all are pretty open minded...and OFCOURSE! we were raised that way.I'm a Dem, but also flexible, as Ric can vouch for..LOL Where did that come from?? I just think, all we've ever had is old white guys in the white house for centuries and some were really wonderful! I'm thinkin it's just time to give a girl a chance. She deserves it and what have we got to lose?

I'm with you Pat! I am a Conservative, but/and am open minded and flexable too! And yes, I do think it is OK for a Lady to take the High Office. But I feel that there are more qualified individual ladies for the Big Office. This is America! And we all are entitled to our view! Too bad 'Rice' didn't decide to run. I would have voted for her in a heartbeat!

She has a cute smile!

pat said...

Yes Ric, she does..She didn't run though. A black women president?? could all you white guys handle it anyway?

Ric Larson said...

Pat, I could (as a white male) if it were Ms. Rice running! But the exciting things is the Democratic race is so close! At the rate that it is going, there will not be enough electorial votes for either candidates to take or win the primary. This could be hisory in the making (good or bad). Lets hope that it does not come down to the 'Super Electorial Vote'.

This is still better to watch than a good sports game, even though I would not vote for either one of them. It's just exciting to watch!

Ric, what qualities do you see in "Condi" as Bush calls her. All I can see is a trail of destruction, zero progress on any international issues except promoting Bushes personal program of a closer and more solidified relationship with SA. SA by the way is the biggest supporters in Cash to the extremists. As far as I can see the only thing she does well is bend over for Bush. Wake up and smell the coffee she is pouring for the biggest financial raping party in US history.

Juliet, you have two degrees and it shows. Kudos to your observations. Smart woman you!

Thanks but you don't need a college degree to figure out whats been going on in the USA the last eight years! Thanks for the compliment but you know I finally finished off my degree with U of Maryland DE. You know Jo there are a lot of DE programs and you might qualify for financial aid. I was finally able to transfer my last credit in through BYU they had an adv. French literature course that was holding me up for 5 years. Never give up on going to school and I hear that if you are 55 you can go to UOG for free. It's never to late. Desi went back and got another MA on top of her PHD and Sara just got a MA in Nursing with U of Phoenix. Many schools will let you transfere in your UOG classes.
