Yes We Can Video

Okay, I admit that I am an Obama fan, but even if you're not, you have to admit that this is a cool video.

We don't get Clinton or Obama adds in Idaho, but to compose a song from his speach, someone needs find something better to do with thier time.
I will not be voteing for the Demecratic Party candidate, but I will say that the remark his wife made about "never being proud of her country" was appalling. I have been proud of our country even when I have not agreed with our politicians.

I was beginning to think that public speaking was a lost art. After the last go round of Bush and Kerry I thought my head was going to explode. Neither one of them put an intelligible sentence together the whole campaign. It's refreshing to have a highly articulate candidate again. I just wish Huckabee was going to be in the fray. He's quite the public speaker too and they would have made for some great debate.

BTW, the actual quote was "For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country." IMO that's conceptually different than "never being proud of one's country."

Gotta watch those guys on talk radio (on both sides), they're a lot like the politicians (on both sides) they cover in that they rarely tell the (whole) truth.

PS...I think the two of them would make a great team for our country.

RAC, I do not listen to talk radio any more. I rarely watch the news. I hapen to be fliping thrugh when I cauth the video of her. No commentary was said with it, that I heard. I may not have said it word for word, but my paraphrase was accurate. I just left out her adult life. I still stand by who ever is president (and I hated having Bill Clinton as a president) I have been proud of my country. The diverse population is what has always made this country, from it's conseption, the greatest country ever. And we all should appriciate that and be proud to be Americans. That is all I am saying. She plainly made it clear that she was not proud of her country.
I have verry liberal friends, as well as those who are Denver Donkey (Broncos) fans. I love all people regardles of their beliefs, as long as they do not hate me or my beliefs. Thats all.

Dave, I've never been very religious or political except in private...and I need to shut up now, like dad taught me.

Pat, don't hate me for who I am. Our love, well lust, na, ah, oh heck just good ol six pack too late, will last forever.

Don't any of us let what we believe in politcs or religion get in the way of having fun. If it is something offensive to any of us, lets just not mention it. Lets just go on the memories and getting back together.

See me later
