Lunar Eclipse

Sorry Paul, I don't have your technology yet. Sure wish I could send pictures of this! But a lunar eclipse is now happening (at least on the East Coast of the US of A). What a sight it is, if you are a science freak like me! Got to go back out side and what the elcipse!

We had a beautiful clear night here but I didn't see anything going on with the moon. But when ever I hear of these lunar events I remember watching one on our roof in Deans Circle, with Desi and Ben, James our ex-brother-in-law and of course our good friend Bud Wiser. Does everyone remember how to get on the DC roofs...using something near by to get a foot hold on the electric meter and pull your self up and over. Getting up was easier than getting down. It was much better once we got a ladder. I remember Ben and Paul were always skate boarding up there on the roof.Crazy, sometimes they went over the edge.

I'd go out and have a look during commercials from South Park. Totality was pretty impressive. Great episode of South Park by the way, Cartman pretends he has Tourettes, I was almost falling out of my chair. I remember Robert & Jeff Jones skateboarding on their roof. There was almost always one death defying act or another going on in that neighborhood.

We went out to dinner with friends last night and one of the guys has new girlfriend who invited us to her house after dinner. She's a couple of yrs older than me, beautiful, never been married and turns out..very very wealthy. We spent a very enjoyable evening sipping chocolate martinis, watching the eclipse from her second story porch overlooking the water and beautiful back yard.

Doug, where you are at do you get the sonic boom from Space Shuttle landing? Yesterday there was an ominous boom-boom that really shook the windows around 9 am, freaked me out for a second I had forgotten that Atlantis was coming back.

As a person in the health care field I can definatly vouch for the fact that the "crazies" really are more active when there is a full moon...lol

We have gotten them before but not lately, I don't know if they've changed their approach path or what. You know one of these days I'm going to go down and watch me a shuttle launch. I have to add that to my bucket list.

The only thing eclipsing the moon here was the smog. Too bad, I was really looking forward to it.

yea Cindy, we heard the boom around 9:05...Poor kitty.
