Dave, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Many of us are veterans, and many more have family who have served or are serving. I am proud of my service, but I only served 5 years, you have dedicated the majority of your life to service. As a member of both the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign wars I would like to welcome you (prematurly) to civilian life. Your service will not ever be forgoten.

Dave and DRL, the stealth bomber crashed at Anderson Air Force Base,maybe you all already heard...close to 2 billion down,pilots O.K.At any rate, Thank you all who served to secure our democracy here. Lot of flaws,but it's by far the best country in the world:)!!!

Dave, we are proud of you and happy to be your friends. What are you going to be doing in the 2nd half of your adventerous life?
Dave, with all your life experience, you should be able to do whatever the hell you want to do. any employer will know they are lucky to get you on their team.
I got the job, but they wanted me to start next week. So I had to turn it down. I will not apply for any more jobs until I am a free man. SEE YOU ALL IN VEGAS BABY!!!

Dave, sorry that you had to turn it down. When is your official retirement date? Will you be able to re-apply for a job with them? Will they keep your application active? Will they save a position for you, future employment? (OK, I should shut up now). It will be good to see you in Vegas!
