Yea, Sally Jones was always such a cool mom. I remember her taking me camping with her and the boys. we were kinda cruel but we used to have hermit crab fights..see who's would win in the end. they were fighters! The crabs I mean.
My Dad used to joke about how Sallys little truck never got to cool down cause she was always on the go.

All you guys that have been putting these old pics ups thanks so much. I don't have any photos from before 1984 and the ones my mother had were ruined from water damage in the last big typhoon. she said she saved some but most had molded. Hermit crabs were good for hours of entertainment our generations version of Xbox I guess. I remember they made great bait but I don't think I could pull their tails off anymore. I am too appreciative of life's struggle.

Thank you Clay for the pics and nice memories! Did you visit Guam recently?

I remember on a clear non-humid day, you could see Rota Island just over the cliff of 'Two Lovers Point' from Agana, now Agahtna (?).

Its "Hagatna" now and Merizo is Meleso :-)

Oops, I meant "Malesso"

Those poor hermit crabs, endless torture from all races. Down at Hanom we did see them in big packs as if having a crab meeting as to how to eliminate us. It was kind of strange to see, hundreds and then they'd all crawl away.Unless we needed bait.My other half does that part:)

Juliet, you have such a good memory,Do you remember how at least the little ones would take a regular jar and catch so many honey bees. They always flew up. Or the Chen's,1 cent per snail,I think. There were so many and they were always so happy.

Ahhh RIGHT SIDE Boat Basin... many barrels. I remember getting something like 23 barrels in a row. Take off, stall, lean in, ride out, kick out. Voila!
