Why I Boycott Carl's Jr.

Although this ad is a spoof it pretty accurately portrays the latest trend in Carl's Jr. commercials. Needless to say I no longer patronize their restaurants.

Yea, I am with you all on this. Even if theis is a spoof, many companies have gone to the extreem.

I use to be a Starbucks supporter, until I found out and called them for myself, that they do not support our Military and those who serve in the 5 branches.

Starbucks, who "claim" to be green, use far less than the 10%post consumer waste they claim, and most of their paper products ARE NOT RECYCLE friendly..And I'm not a tree hugger, just dont like the companies that ride the wave of popularity for corp profits..

They call them Hardees down here. Equally repulsive.

We encourage military spouses and their families to visit us on-line at www.starbucks.com/aboutus/jobcenter

At Starbucks, the goal is to create the best possible workplace environment for our partners (employees), one that attracts and retains talented individuals and is regarded by them as a great place to work.

Starbucks aims to be supportive to our military partners and their spouses through an engaging environment as well as policies and practices that facilitate retention. For example, Starbucks continues pay and benefits for up to 24 months in the event a partner is called to duty.

Specific to military spouses and recognizing that service members are often transferred, Starbucks is ideal for trailing spouses whotypically have to find new employment

When I saw Cindy say it was gross, I wouldn't even open it. Sorry, I can't take watching Idiots do gross things.

Juliet, thank you for the comments. However, they were posted in 2007, which was several years after the original statement that they would not support the military or those who served in them. They at the time denied sending any product to Afganistan and Iraq. It appears that after alot of boycotting and presure form men and women enlisted and those from the American Liegon and Veterans of Forien Wars (I am a proud member of both), Starbucks has changed there mind. I however will still boycott them because of there original view of our Military. I have no problem with anyone else who will not.
Enjoy your Starbucks coffee.
See me later.

My wife saw this video. She said that is how I react/eat when I order in take out of 4 dozen hot wings during a football game. I thought the guy in the video was a little more civilized than me!
