Thanks Dave, you made my day. I've always loved his music ( and yes, I know his politics are controversial, but he was still one of my favorites then).
Cat Stevens is so good,I named my dog Moon Shadow. I know he's muslim now bit, he wrote and sang wonderful songs.I bought his cd,then someone saki'ed it.:(
So, with his conversion to Islam do the three female accompanists in the back now wear Burqas?
Shoot, Cat's alright in my book. He got me laid more times than I ever deserved.

No RAC, he wasn't very prophetic. But his songs had a lot of deep meanings! One hell of a poet and song writer! He did have a religious experience when he almost drowned in California while swimming. After that near drowning he gave up his music and became Muslim. And yes Juliet, he was diagnosed as bipolar a very long long time ago. There are medications to treat that. To bad that he did not continue on with a musical carrier. He could and would have come out with a lot more good music!
Nice to hear that it may be a "condition" I love his voice and I love his best of Cat Stevens.I would listen by myself while everyone partied outside.His words move me:)
