Sophia Loren and Jane Mansfield
Sophia Loren visited Hollywood in 1958. One night, the actress was celebrated at the Romanoff's restaurant. Her dinner companion was Jayne Mansfield. The American photographer Joe Shere passed by their table and took a shot of the pair. In the photo, Mansfield smiles up at the camera while Sophia Loren is immortalized staring at Mansfield's décolleté.
Sophia may be all italian, but she still has to admire those "big, American strombolis"

Here's some trivia for you. Mansfield died when the car she was riding slammed into and under the back of a tractor-trailer. Following her death, the NHTSA began requiring an underride guard, a strong bar made of steel tubing, to be installed on all tractor-trailers. This bar is also known as a Mansfield bar.
Well...I guess I wasn't paying much attention to their faces.
RAC, the sad thing about the Mansfied bar is that it in less protection for a car. Being in the indestry, I have seen and know of too many deaths because the DOT(Mansfield) bar is a simple weld and a weak point at the point where a car will impact it. Because of it, the weld breaks, or simpley fold under.
So Please, any of you folowing a semi trailer, STAY BACK!!! we want you all there at the 2038 Dean's circle reunion(with the pool of tatertots,lots of ketchup and stuff).

As a former lifeguard, I think I can safely say that Jane Mansfield will not drown, and will not be able to drown much.
