For those of you who live where there is no such thing, and juls you know who you are, you are soooooooooo lucky. I am at work, and am going to sleep now.
Dave, do you have to go to work early? I remember having to walk by myself to the bus stop and it was dark and early in the morning. I would look all around thinking something was going to jump out!
Joanna, me too. I hated it going to school earlier, and I still come to work looking around scared something is going to jump out. I should just stay home.
I keep telling my boss I can't come to work due to an eye problem. I just can't SEE myself comming to work, Haaaaa. He just dosn't care. So here I am.
drl, well ,with your back and eye problem,I pray all gets better. Just keep the good one open. Chit Chat:)It's late here but, I stay up at times...insomnia.
Thanks for being able to relate. I bought a new bed but,it's really hard.it is hard to resign to.Taking it back for a comfy one!!!Tomorrow exactly.DRL, do you remember a man named Adam Branch or Jon Branch? Adam lived in Merizo, forever it seems.
Drl, I had to work this weekend and getting up on Sunday at 0430 with one less hour of sleep really did suck but I must say that this evening having that extra hour of daylight to get in a walk in our beautiful Florida weather was definitely nice.
No one saves daylight like Alaska! You people who don't live in Alaska have no idea about daylight savings! In a month we will have sunrise by 5 am and sunset at nearly 10 pm. By mid-June, there will be more than 19 (!!) hours of daylight -- when will I sleep?!
Sarah, I lived in Alaska for 3 years (that is were I met my wife Teresita in 1993). I had to cover my bedroom windows with aluminum foil in the summer, just so that I could sleep at bedtime. Dark drapes just did not do the trick. Sunlight would still be piercing through at 2:00 am.
But mostly, I sure do miss the winters there! I use to lay out in my lawn chair (in a 'artic proof sleeping bag' good down to -30 degrees) and watch the Aurora Borealis (when they came) and stars out for hours upon hours! Those were the days!

No, the names don't ring a bell. I lived in Marizo (well north on the west shore) for about 2 years. But my memory is shot.

Cindy, I know, but in just a month it wont matter. It will stay light until 9pm or so. I WANT TO SLEEP IN!
