Cindy's outstanding idea to dress in island wear for our Vegas Baby Guam Fiesta is over the top! But I think I want to add a twist . . . .
Wear your favorite Houli clothes to enter into the official "Old School" Houli Rags Vegas Baby Contest!
Search your closets and boxes in the garage for those old Zorries, Island Shirts, OP shorts, Guam T's, Puca Shells, MooMoo's and reef ripped cut-off denims!
The person with the most authentic Houli, Dean's Circle brat look (red dirt stained and all) wins!
Nothing left from the old days or the just dont fit anymore? No problem, get creative! Put together an outfit that would make the old Circle look proud!!

Juls, My old moomoo don't fit anymore
Sam and Jo we could use some of those island print outfits from "Shells of Micronesia."
Doug can wear his floppy old hat.
I seem to recall we spent a lot of time half naked. Are you really sure you want to encourage that, Juls?
naked and skiny jayahhhhh
rac, Sweet
Juliet, those would do for the contest.Yet, as Juls pointed out skinny and naked. I don't know if I could pull that one off...I do have access to old Guam t-shirts but, the cut off shorts don't want to listen when I say "come up already" You know what I mean, right?:)
Oh and Howlie is really haoli, meaning in Hawaiian as the foreigner. Guam just borrowed that phrase.FYI.:)
Jo didn't watching Alice and I teach you anything. You gotta laydown on the bed, and pull that zipper up!
Naked days are over for me these days, and thanks for the spelling tip, I knew I was spelling it wrong.
I was going ot stay out of this for the most part. I spent alot of my time skinny dipping.
Oh, anyone have a small kiddy pool that we could put in the middle of the suite?
Juliet, I forgot that lesson. I told Alice that I'm going. I want to see her again after many years that have past us by:)She seems to be thinking about it.Vegas BabY!!I still wish you'd go.Not only are you funny but, very smart.Let's go!!!
Can we sneak into someones pool, in their backyard, and skinny dip there for old times sake??
Not that I would encourage such adolescent behavior.OK. lets go find a water tower instead!!
Dave??
How do I get one of those shirts?
Yea Ric, I love that shirt too.
Hey I liked that hat.
Got Red Rice T----I saw on the web, I will post where to get one soon.
Oh by the way, even after my spelling lesson, I sitill can't spell houllleiiisiisi
Hey, your not alone on that juls.
I found that t-shirt and hundreds of other Guam things at www.cafepress.com.
Just type in "Guam" in the box after search "all departments" and hit "go". They have everything from t-shirts to hats to bumper stickers.
Thanks Cindi, that is the right spot I found that cool shirt
actually' I think it is spelled Haole'. Help me out all the DC folk on Hawaii:)
Joanna, I actually think it is spelt "hey, look at that white guy/gal burning in the sun, wearing that funny cloths". now that may be due to correct dialect intupitation, of corse.
Juls, I hope that I didn't offend you in any way. My father ingrained in me the practice of correcting words/English. He did it to me constantly.I now carry that on with my friends and family.I don't even mean to for the most part, except for my daughter.
Joanna, eye doent no woo wood bee upset aboot u spel chekn. eye spel goood.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Honto desu ka?
Joanna, if you do, you clean it up.
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
No worries Joanna, my mom and pop were just like that too. I am used to it.
Joanna, someone has to keep us all in line, after all we are a bunch of teacher's kids.
My dad corrected us all the time, and one time I had my dad as a teacher for a college writing class I took....ugh, that was hard. I got an A though (I DID deserve it).
This is one cool t-shirt !!! I like it a lot.
